Key enhancements in v7 are:-
- configurable Dashboard pages
- new Sales Pipeline view: a drag-and-drop Kanban-style display where opportunities are shown as cards on a board and the board is divided into columns representing the stages of the sales process.
- easy-to-create Search List definitions which can be pinned to your menu
End-of-Life of older Legrand CRM versions
2020-06-30 End-of-Life for Legrand CRM v5, v6 and v6.5
As of January 14, 2020, Microsoft no longer supports or provides security updates for Windows 7. This means that Windows 7 computers will be more vulnerable to security risks and viruses. To avoid these risks, Microsoft recommends upgrading to Windows 10.
Legrand CRM v6.5, v6 and v5 were developed for Windows 7. They are outdated products and have been placed in End-Of-Life on September 30, 2020.
The cloud licencing server which periodically validates the v5, v6, v6.5 licences is in the process of being decommissioned. What this means is that you will no longer be able to register or validate Legrand CRM v5, v6 and v6.5 licences.
If you were using one of those older versions and still need to access the data occasionally you need to update to v7 or to our Cloud CRM product.
PRO and STD edition users
Are you still using a STD or PRO edition of Legrand CRM released in the 2000's? We are really pleased that they have been of use to you for so long but please be aware that STD and PRO are discontinued products which we no longer support. They will not work on Windows 10 or with Outlook 2016.
Your options are either to upgrade v7 desktop CRM, which may need a review of your server infrastructure, or if you like the ease-of-use of the Cloud your second option is to migrate to Legrand Cloud CRM.
